Lok Sabha Election Phase 3: Elections begin in 10 states, 1 UT

Voting for 92 seats began on Tuesday (May 7) in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

In Gujarat, 25 constituencies will vote in the third phase as one has been won uncontested by the BJP. Karnataka will conclude voting for the remaining 14 of the 28 seats on April 26 after covering the first half.

Assam will vote for four seats, while Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, all of which will vote in seven phases, will cover five, 10 and four seats respectively.

Seven of Chhattisgarh’s 11 constituencies are also voting, as are eight constituencies in Madhya Pradesh and 11 in Maharashtra.

Goa will vote for both its Lok Sabha seats, as will Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
