The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has conveyed his sincere congratulations to the athletes of Team Nigeria for their impressive performances so far at the World Relay Championships in the Bahamas where they qualified for the 4×400 Mixed Relays and the Men’s 4×400 relay at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Speaking on this remarkable achievement, Senator Enoh was full of praise for the Nigerian Ambassadors, saying: “I am immensely proud of our athletes of Team Nigeria for their exceptional performance at the World Relay Championships, which has already secured two qualifying tickets for the Olympic Games.

“Their dedication, determination and resilience have brought honor to our nation, and I congratulate them on this milestone.”

The Nigerian Men’s 4x400m quartet of Dubem Nwachukwu, Dubem Amene, Sikiru Adeyemi and Chidi Okezie showcased their prowess on the track and clocked a remarkable time of 3:01.70 to secure qualification for the Summer Olympics in Paris.
