Evidently, John Green’s Stardom shows no signs of slowing down, whether it’s his best-selling books or his mass-viewed adaptations. The screen version of “Turtles all the way down” just premiered on Max and already is one of the most watched films in the US.

Green’s fifth solo novel has been highly praised by critics and audiences alike the accurate portrayal of OCD, the mental disorder the main character struggles with. In an interview with Penguin Books, the author stated: “This is my first attempt at writing directly about the kind of mental illness that has affected my life since childhood, so while the story is fictional, it is also quite personal.”

Not only did the book debut at No. 1 in The New York Times “Bestseller list” shortly after its release, but it also stayed at the top for 15 weeks and stayed on the list for over a year.

The plot revolves around teenager Aza Holmes, who struggles with OCD and anxiety in her daily life. One day, her best friend Daisy convinces her to go on a journey to find a missing billionaire in hopes of claiming a $100,000 reward. Aza agrees and goes on a trip will lead her to discover love in an unexpected place.

The main roles are played by Isabela Merced And Cree, who play Aza and Daisy, respectively. They are joined by other talented young actors such as Felix Mallard, Malik JohnsonAnd Miles Ekhardt.
