Wind Advisory issued May 5 at 12:35 AM PDT until May 5 at 8:00 PM PDT by NWS Phoenix AZ

* WHAT…West wind 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* WHERE…Southeastern Imperial Province, Western Imperial Province,
Salton Sea, Chuckwalla Mountains and Imperial Valley.

* WHEN…Until 8pm PDT tonight.

* IMPACTS…Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger ones
vehicles driving on roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured
objects can become airborne.
A wind advisory means there will be sustained wind speeds between 30 and 30 degrees
Winds of 60 km/h or gusts between 40 and 90 km/h are expected. Winds
so strong can make driving difficult, especially for those with a high profile
vehicles.

In addition, strong winds over desert areas can result in short periods of time
visibility reduced to over a mile in blowing dust
or blowing sand. Be extra careful.
