Domino’s Pizza Menu Items That Employees Say You Should Think Twice About

The Domino’s menu is pretty vague about how the restaurant prepares its Crunchy Thin Crust, especially compared to the other pizza crusts. While the original crust is proudly called “Hand Tossed” and the deep dish is called “Handmade Pan,” the Crunchy Thin Crust is only described as “thin enough for the optimal crunchy to crunchy ratio and square cut for perfect sharing.” .”

It turns out there’s a reason the restaurant is as thin on details as it is on crust: It doesn’t actually make the Crunchy Thin Crust in-store. A now-deleted TikTok made the rounds a few years ago showing a Domino’s employee dusting a countertop with cornmeal — as is the norm when making one of the chain’s pizzas, then preparing to dump raw pizza dough to stretch and roll out… before throwing it away grab it off the screen and a thin crust in plastic wrap. “It’s prepackaged!!!!” the person wrote the video’s caption before it was deleted.

If you order thin crust, not only will you not get the same level of freshness that Domino’s promotes in its marketing, but employees have also described some logistical issues. When a disgruntled customer shared a photo of a jumbled Crunchy Thin Crust pizza after delivery, several alleged Domino’s employees took to Reddit to warn that because they are so light, you often don’t get your pizza in the best condition you will receive.
