There are 2 billion Automata standing between you and a new Helldivers 2 Stratagem

There is no such thing as ‘too many guns’ Hell divers 2. Arrowhead Games Studios would like to keep our arsenal ready for battle on PS5 and the latest version Helldivers 2 Grand Order sends us back to defeat Super Earth’s toughest enemy. Gather the band and throw your cape back to the wind, because two billion Automata need to be sent out.

Despite Helldivers 2’s recent PSN account linking blunders, Arrowhead’s co-op game is still an absolute joy to play. The fun (and pain) continues with the new Major Order, which is all about dominating the forces of Automata on their home turf. According to Arrowhead, PS5 players must defeat as many Automatons so they can be “melted down and reconstructed” into the new Anti-Tank Mine Stratagem.

Once again, Arrowhead needs billions of its deadliest enemies dispatched quickly. At the time of writing, only 0.37% of the Universe’s Automatons have been killed, according to this nifty galactic tracker. But knowing how persistent this multiplayer game’s community can be, I’m personally confident it will be completed within the next 48 hours – if not sooner.

Arrowhead has previously experimented with anti-tank weapons, giving us the EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank launcher to take down armored forces. While not as satisfying in my opinion as the trusty RL-112 Recoilless Rifle, it is still a useful piece of equipment to consider equipping. I’m more of a Quasar Canon user purely for the ability to one-shot Automaton troop carriers. That’s interstellar bliss.

There’s also now a new Helldivers 2 Warbond live in-game, meaning you can equip yourself with some of the newest additions to the game yet. It’s worth getting just the Motivational Shocks booster, which can prevent you from being slowed down by acid attacks, especially if you’re destroying all kinds of Terminid enemies.
