Hot Dogs: The cheapest available at any MLB field

Actor Humphrey Bogart once remarked that a hot dog at the game is better than roast beef at the Ritz. Most baseball fans would agree with this sentiment, although Bogart might be surprised by how much the average franc would set him back these days.

According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, approximately 20 million hot dogs are consumed at MLB stadiums each season, which equates to approximately 8,000 hot dogs per game. (The NHDSC also claims that the average American eats a whopping 70 hot dogs a year, and if that seems like an insane number, you’re not alone.)
