General Observer visited three polling stations

Leh, May 5, 2024: In preparation for the upcoming general elections, BH Talati, General Observer for Parliamentary Constituency 01-Ladakh, visited the District Election Office in Leh on May 4 to oversee the scrutiny of nomination papers.

Thereafter, General Observer, accompanied by Expenditure Observer, Gajendra Singh, went to Nubra Block and diligently inspected three polling stations.

The polling stations that the General Observer inspected were Government Middle School, Rasermo Kharzong with voting number 63, Government Middle School, Khardong with voting number 61, and Government Primary School, Terith with voting number 57. During his inspection, he inquired about the total number of students present and registered voters by location. He also briefly interacted with the Flying Squad Team and Static Surveillance Team, instructing them to strictly adhere to vehicle registration protocols.
