A shooting at a Broad Street seafood restaurant leaves a man seriously injured – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in Philadelphia are investigating after a man was shot multiple times at a seafood restaurant on Broad Street in North Philadelphia on Saturday evening.

According to police, officers responded to a shooting at Crab Du Jour, located along the 800 block of N. Broad Street, on Saturday around 10:45 p.m. to find a man, believed to be in his 20s, after he had been shot. several times.

Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace told NBC10 that the man was “arrested” by responding officers and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in “extremely critical” condition.

Surveillance video of the incident, along with information from investigations and witness statements, appears to show that the shooting began after two men were involved in a “threatening” argument at the restaurant, Pace said.

At one point in the argument, Pace said, the victim of the incident was reaching for something when the suspected shooter pulled out a firearm and shot several times.

Police have made no arrests, but Pace said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
