Lok Sabha elections phase 3: 94 seats in 12 states and Union Territories go to polls on May 7

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections have reached a crucial juncture as the country braces for the third phase of elections. On May 7, ninety-four Lok Sabha seats across twelve states and Union Territories will witness the election exercise, which marks a crucial chapter in the country’s democratic journey.

The regions set for the electoral battle include Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, where a total of 49 seats will be contested. In particular, the electoral process will draw back the curtain on electoral fervor in these states, putting an end to the mandate-seeking efforts that began weeks ago.
